Those are snakes.
I disagree, those are not snakes.
Indeed they are.
Do you see the fangs?
Do you also see the miniscule eyes?
Well! I am surprised, for I have been mistaken.
Those are in fact snakes.
Just realized I spelled congratulations like it was a theoretical particle. Did you notice?
Hey folks, Wikipedia needs your help. Think about how often you use it, how valuable the information it provides is, what a revolutionary concept it represents, and then realize that it is not to be taken for granted. Wikipedia could disappear without your support. Any amount helps. Please click the banner above and donate now. It took me 30 seconds, and I'm proud to say I'm a Wikipedia supporter now.
We did it, America; we took the first step toward reclaiming our rightful place in the world. I'm very proud right now, and no matter how you voted, I hope you recognize the weight of what we've done, and I hope you're proud too.

"Well I'm not paralyzed but I seem to be struck by you I wanna make you move BECAUSE YOU'RE STANDING STIIIIILL..."

You can thank me/kill me later.
It all started with a simple concept: Kim wanted a tattoo of a woman who was also a willow tree, and wanted me to design it. I put it off for a while, but one night after a bit of drunken pestering from Kim and her friends, I flipped over a napkin and drew this:
She ooh'd over it for a few minutes, and let me know that I had captured much of what she had in mind, although it wasn't quite there yet. Several months went by before she started to pressure me for more work on the design, this time suggesting a moon or circle be incorporated into the design:

What Kim liked: the circle (which represents a full moon and yet also a crescent shape formed by the outer circle and the woman's hair), the hair/leaves. What she missed from the previous design: the uplifted arms and flowing hair. So I created this sketch:
and very quickly inked out a simple design to illustrate where I was going with the design:
Liking where this was going, but feeling that the latest ink didn't look much like a tree, I tried again:
After Kim penciled in the hair, this became:
and after kim suggested removing the woodgrain from her body/trunk, we arrived at:
Kim loved it. We went down to Psycho Tattoo the night this design was completed, and my artwork is now permanently inked onto my wife's neck:
